Karuta is a collectible card bot powered by Discord that currently features more than 90k anime characters.
Working closely with the creators of Karuta, I designed over 240 skill icons, and more than 50 status and effect emotes for use within the game.

Who says online exhibitions aren't a thing anymore? Not us. Every semester, Callan Steinmann, our head of education and curator of academic and public programs works with University of Georgia students (either museum interns or Museum Studies students) on a pop-up exhibition of works from our collection. The works are on view for only one night, but we preserve the work these students do by turning the pop-up into a permanent show online.
